ASIC‘s has over $600 million that is waiting to be claimed. You can use the Unclaimed Money Online Search tool to find funds in your name located in banks, credit unions or building society accounts, or even find lost shares and life insurance policies.
State Revenue office of Victoria Unclaimed Money Search-
The State Revenue office of Victoria holds over 165 million dollars in unclaimed funds.
The State Revenue Office database is provided to ‘assist the owners of Unclaimed Money lodged with the Registrar of Unclaimed Money in Victoria to locate their funds and make a claim for the return of those funds.’

Fair Work Ombudsman Unclaimed money for employees –
You can search Fair Work database to find out ‘if your former employer paid the Commonwealth money that was owed to you. For a successful search there needs to be a match between the employee name and the Australian Business Number (ABN) or the business name (entity name) of the former employer.’
